What is the MIPS CAHPS® Survey?
The Merit-Based Incentive Payment System (MIPS) is one track of the Quality Payment Program, where clinicians earn a performance-based payment adjustment to their Medicare payment. Additionally, this survey contains the core CAHPS® Clinician & Group Survey (CG-CAHPS®), plus additional items to meet CMS information needs.
This survey is conducted by a CMS-approved vendor and is intended to:
